Pennetta sends Sharapova crashing out of US Open, Andy Murray,Rafael Nadal, reaches third round at U.S. Open

          Maria Sharapova is out of the U.S. Open, upset in the third round by Flavia Pennetta.The 2006 champion lost 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 to the 26{+t}{+h}-seeded Italian on Friday. Sharapova had been 12-0 in three-set matches this year, including her first-round win.Sharapova made 12 double-faults, including two in the last game. She did not look sharp over a 2 hour, 29-minute match that featured plenty of nervous tennis. Sharapova made 60 unforced errors.
