Defending champion Ronjan Sodhi won gold in double trap shooting at the World Cup final defeating China's Hu Binyuan in a nail-biting tiebreaker finish at Al Ain in the UAE on Tuesday. Sodhi along with Hu shot a total of 187/200 in the finals before finally clinching gold in the tie-shoot. He is the first Indian to defend a World Cup final title in shooting.
"To win back-to-back titles is an amazing feeling. The competition was tough. I hope to continue with this performance and hopefully will do better with time," said Sodhi, who is ranked eighth in the world.
